Green sea turtles, after years of not being hunted in Hawaii, are no longer afraid of humans
There is something special happening here on the north shore of Maui at Hookipa beach, every evening at sunset many of the green Hawksbill sea turtles come up to rest on the shore. They are not afraid of people as they have not been hunted for so long, and it is important to not disturb them and watch from a distance.
